Angela is a very insightful teacher who helps you understand the process of auditioning. My trouble was being worried about making the wrong choices and not the right ones. The combination of her casting and teaching experience has given me a new positive approach to auditioning. My first meeting with her broke many boundaries for me. She truly cares for her students and will give her all to each individual.

I've been working with Angela for over 10 years. Her classes are fun, innovative, and magical. She helps you discover the joys of acting, not the fear and pressure. I highly recommend her to anyone, from the beginner to the experienced actor. She has the ability to find what each student needs to become a versatile, unique and confident actor. Angela's coaching helped me land a recurring role on Beverly Hills 90210.

Angela has helped me to become an infinitely more polished and complete actor. She has an incredible way of coaching out of me the performance I know I can give but never seem to be able to find on my own. The times I have spent with her have been some of the most fulfilling and rewarding times in my acting career. Because of Angela, I feel like I am much more prepared to work on a scene, take an audition, book a job, and perform successfully when the time comes.

I first discovered Angela when the director I was working with on an independent film brought her on set to work with me halfway through filming. I cannot even begin to describe the difference she made in my performance. I improved threefold on the scenes where she coached me, so thanks to Angela my performance seems flawless. I have continued to work with her for an invaluable education in further developing my scene study skills. I am currently lucky to have a spot in her Audition Class where I have the privilege of picking her brain weekly for the gems she as a Casting Director brings to the table, while she as the Acting Coach nurtures me. To me the most important thing is the confidence I feel going into auditions now, as well as the satisfaction I feel coming out knowing I was the best I could be. Angela is my secret weapon, but I'm happy to share her with my fellow actors. Thanks Angela, you're number 1!

Angela is not just a teacher, but a true friend. She's there for you when you succeed and when the nerves kick in. She provides the tools needed to just bring it and shine in any type of audition. Plus her guests are hard-working industry people who can relate to what you, as an actor, are going through. Because of this opportunity, I was able to meet and obtain an agent and manager. Angela Campolla's classes are necessary for the actor who wants to learn a whole new perspective on auditioning.
Chandra Gerson (landed an agent and manager from Angela's industry guests)
I have taken cold reading, scene study, and audition classes until my eyes glazed over, but I wasn’t sure why I wasn’t getting callbacks. The first night of Angela’s audition class, I knew it was heads above any of the other classes I had taken. From day one, she helped me understand what I need to work on. Angela creates a wonderful, warm, safe environment in which to work and learn and most of all have fun. From her casting experience, Angela knows what she is doing. She brings in well-known industry guests whose critiques are extremely valuable. Angela's class is everything she advertises and more. If you are a serious actor wanting to improve your auditioning skills, you have to take this class.

Angela has been extremely concise in her approach to cold reading. She not only has taught me so much in six weeks, but the teaching has been presented in such a way that she draws clear parallels to life, easy concepts to grasp. Her knowledge of the industry and immense passion for this career bleeds into her passion for teaching which makes the student eager to come back for more. I've never had a better teacher, and I've never been a better actor than I am now.

Angela has completely prepared me for any audition situation. I feel that I have learned the tools to have an excellent audition through her class. She has raised the level of my acting. Coming from a theatre background, she has taught me how the camera does not lie. Her class is a valuable experience no actor should pass up.
Mary Shahadi (According to Jim)
Angela is a savvy professional and an insightful teacher! Her own experiences in casting infuse her teaching with valuable practical information. Her students not only progress as artists, but are also given the tools necessary to make it as a professional actor in a tough industry.
Melissa Jones (Gilmore Girls, Spin City, Primetime Glick)
In her cold reading and scene study classes, Angela gives considerable individual attention to each student, enabling them to perfect the scene/side to their true potential. She gives great constructive advice, is extremely perceptive, attentive, caring, and able to discern the abilities and challenges for each individual actor. Not only have I grown as an actor, I have gained immeasurable confidence in auditions, which has led to my booking of a co-starring role, a role on a soap, and several callbacks! In addition to her scene study and cold reading classes, I highly recommend Angela's private coaching sessions, as these have also contributed greatly to my confidence in auditions, great feedback from casting directors, and bookings.
Amy Kim (The Young & the Restless, Family Law, The Bold & the Beautiful)
When I entered my first class with Angela eleven years ago, she said she didn't believe that there was such a thing as an acting teacher... There were only acting coaches whose job was to bring out everything that already existed within a person. Through the years I've known and been coached by Angela, that's exactly what I've watched her do. If you're looking for a class that will strengthen your skills as an actor and help you evolve as a person, this is definitely it, and there's no one I'd recommend as highly.
Lauren Levy
I highly recommend Angela's audition class. In addition to her keen eye and ability to pinpoint my strengths and weaknesses, she offers the chance to be seen by industry professionals, to work in each class, and to see yourself on tape. Many actors hate looking at themselves on screen, but I find it an extremely valuable learning tool. Her comments are not sugar-coated, and she really does care about you improving your abilities.
Catherine Logan (Dixie Chicks Music Video, Speechless, Sunset Beach)
I appreciate the candor and experience you brought to your acting workshop at Act Now. I genuinely feel I have been able to enter an audition with greater confidence, and have used the same techniques in job interviews! As a former acting instructor at the University of Michigan, I would highly recommend your workshops or private coaching, and will do so with my friends. Thanks again for a wonderful first chance to act in Los Angeles!

I had been relying mostly on instinct throughout my career, and that had served me well for certain parts. Angela used my instinct and added time-tested, hands-on casting experience to help me prepare for all types of auditions. Now I'm comfortable going out for sitcoms, one-hour dramas, feature films, you name it. Before Angela, a dramatic audition would have me shaking in my boots. Now? Bring it on. Oh yeah, and she also showed me wonderful techniques for "bringing down" my stage persona for film, without losing the character.
Scott MacDonell (Puddle Jumper)
Angela is definitely an acting “coach.” There were times I was right were I needed to be emotionally but wanted to wimp out because it felt too real. Angela coached me into doing the scene, and I never regretted it. I faced my fears and grew stronger every time. She doesn’t let you off the hook because she truly cares about an actor’s growth, and that is a rare quality in this town.
Carolyn Meyer
I took all of the advice I've gotten in the past few weeks from Angela and put them into my auditions. I'm happy to report I booked a part in a feature film! 90% of everything I've auditioned for, I've gotten a callback. My odds are getting so much better and I am feeling much more confident. Angela’s class is paying off!
Mya Michaels (Dr. Vegas, Destroy the Light)
I am greatly appreciative of, not to mention bolstered by, Angela’s input. She is so well attuned. I grew, gained confidence, now feel better about my talent, and more fully own my skills and range as a result of her audition class.
Neil Miller
Angela is one of the best acting coaches I've ever had. She understands people so well, and can explain a scene in a real-life context, which helps get the actor involved and find the emotion and reality. She's fun, serious, and dedicated, and treats her students as equals by building strong relationships with them. It's a pleasure to be trained by Angela.
Constance Nelson (The Young and the Restless)
I am so thankful that I took Angela's Audition Acting Class. It was one of the best investments I've made toward my acting career. I have learned and gained so much from the class and truly enjoyed the whole experience. I used to go to auditions with so many unknowns and uncertainties, but now with the invaluable knowledge I've gained from Angela's coaching, I am more confident, know exactly where to direct my energy and am well-prepared for anything. Because of her, I landed a recurring role on American Dreams. Most importantly, what I've gained from the class was Angela as a friend. Thank you Angela, for your friendship, caring and guidance. You are totally awesome.
Chau Nguyen (American Dreams)
Angela is an inspired teacher. She comes to the table with an understanding of what it's like to be an actor, as well as the inside scoop from a casting director's perspective. She is experienced and innovative - using tools such as on-camera work, cold reads, studied sides, physical and verbal warm-ups, and putting her students in the role of casting director. Her classes tend to be made up of students with varied experience levels and strengths - this heightens the class dynamic by letting students see the different approaches and techniques brought to a script by their classmates. Angela is funny and caring, but honest and gives excellent criticism - the best acting coach I've ever studied with!
Megan Oberle (Six Feet Under, ER, The 70’s, Good Thing)
I met Angela when I just moved to LA from New York and I was overwhelmed by the industry in this town. I was looking to learn as much as possible. Angela is a fantastic teacher. She creates an amazingly relaxed, warm and fun environment while maintaining a realistic, up front approach. She has years of invaluable industry experience and has a very positive perspective. She has great industry guests as well - I met my agent in her class & signed a few weeks later. She's the best!
Brittany Palmer (Guiding Light, All My Children)
I was completely satisfied with the Audition Acting Class. Her direct approach and visual direction helped me see the areas where I was lacking. With her help, I am no longer insecure about an audition. I get to be an actor for a few minutes, and am pleased with my performance. I have generated more callbacks since her Audition Acting Class than before. Thanks Angela.
Glen Rico
Angela's full of valuable information and makes you feel so at ease. Her bubbly, animated, fun personality really helps create a very casual, easy-going and safe environment to learn.
Kerry Seldin
Training with Angela has been a great experience. She taught me so much in such a small amount of time. She expressed positive energy, and shared inspiring words. She always stressed, “When auditioning, take over the room, believe the role, know who and where you are, show power and confidence - don’t act, become.” I now feel more confident about myself and ready to take over the room.
Dwana Sumler
I REALLY enjoyed getting to know you and learning from you at your workshop. Your positive feedback inspired me to keep focus and to have fun acting. Most of the classes/workshops/seminars that I have taken in the past seemed to focus on giving acting tools but aren't really encouraging, and your workshop is empowering and fun.
Denise Tapscott
What I gained most from Angela's audition technique class was how to make more clear and concise choices in my work which ultimately strengthened my audition process. We "practiced" by using various scenarios that generally throw me off to warm me up to handling ANYTHING that comes my way (i.e., a casting director who doesn't look at me, is rude, or interrupts during an audition). It's been the thorn in my side prior to Angela's class to try and overcome these "demons." However, through Angela's intensive guidance, I learned how to fully control the situation and own my space and time in the room, for it is MY moment. Angela's taught me a wonderful private moment to use prior to every audition, and it goes something like this: "Oh goody! I get to act today!" And with this, I am overjoyed and rejuvenated at the possibilities in ways I wasn't prior to taking her class! Thanks Angela!
